Jackfruit Tacos


Ingredients:

Chilám® Adobo (3 tbsp)

Jackfruit in brine (1 can)

Tortillas 

Vegetable broth (1 cup)

Optional ingredients:

Tomatoes (1)

Cheese (optional)

Onions (picked or grilled)

Salsa 

Avocado

Using a food processor shred the strained jackfruit. This is the easiest way to get fine pieces of jackfruit, but you can also chop or mash it. 

Put a little vegetable oil in a pan and add the jackfruit and Chilám®. Stir for one minute and add broth or a cup of water and stir. Turn down the heat and let cook until the liquid is almost completely absorbed. You may blend 1 tomato with vegetable broth for extra flavor.

For cheesy tacos, heat a tortilla and flip once, add cheese and cover to let cheese melt, top jackfruit, onions avocado or salsa, enjoy!
