Clean shrimp and use a small knife to cut along the outer edge of the shrimp to "butterfly" it. (This step is optional but it allows for more of the rub to cover the shrimp, it cooks more evenly, and as an added bonus: it takes the look of your dish to another level) Pat dry and add Chilám® Pastor, toss lightly. Add a pinch of salt (optional) Cover the bottom of a pan with a small amount of vegetable oil over medium heat. Once the oil starts to heat up, add shrimp and let it cook until it becomes opaque, about 2-3 minutes each side depending on shrimp size. |
