Ingredients:Chilám® Pastor (3 tbsp) Choice of Protein (1 pound) Tortillas Orange juice (1/2 cup) Apple Cider Vinegar (1 tbsp) Toppings: Small onion, sliced Fresh pineapple slices (1 cup) Salsa Guacamole (optional) Cilantro (optional) |
Mix the orange juice and vinegar with Chilám® Pastor adding liquid slowly until you get a thick paste. Slice your protein and use half of the Chilám® Pastor paste to marinate. Refrigerate for one hour or overnight for more flavor. Heat two tablespoons of vegetable oil in a skillet over medium heat, add your protein and pan sear for one minute. Continue to cook for another 3 minutes and add the rest of the paste. Turn the heat down. Let it cook for a few more minutes, until the protein absorbs more of the paste. Grill or pan sear pineapple until it has a nice golden tone. Grilled onions are an excellent addition to your tacos. Grill them in the same skillet for added flavor. Serve on tacos with your choice of salsa or guacamole. Enjoy! |
